TEDA International School was established in 1995. As a public foreign-related education school established by TEDA Social Management Committee of Tianjin Binhai New Area People's government, TEDA International School has been committed to providing international education from pre-school to grade 12 for students living in TEDA and other regions of Tianjin, serving more than 200 students from 27 countries.
TEDA International School is accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Council of International Schools(CIS). At the same time, it has also obtained the membership qualification of East Asia Regional Council of Schools(EARCOS), the membership qualification of Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS), the membership qualification of Beijing international schools and universities Alliance and the membership qualification of American Alliance for International Education(AAIE).
The curriculum is based on internationally recognized learning standards, which are jointly formulated by the office of American overseas schools and other educational organizations based on scientific research. The curriculum from kindergarten to high school follows the curriculum standards of "American education extension (AERO)", "American new generation science education standard" and " International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)". The school has set up Chinese, Spanish and Korean courses, and provides all students from kindergarten to high school with courses in science and technology application, mental health and moral quality, sports, music and visual arts. Senior students have the opportunity to participate in experiential learning visits and exchanges.
Curriculum:
AP courses: the university has a series of pre university courses. Students can take pre University (AP) courses and non AP courses in many subject fields from grade 9. AP course is an international course recognized in the early stage of the mainstream courses of international education and has a wide range of influence in the world.
High scope course: the kindergarten applies the high scope - active and participatory learning mode of American Hessen high course, which takes children's interesting learning as the core and independent game as the basis.
