SIE is an agency, also known as a dispatch company based in Shenzhen. Shenzhen is the second largest city in Guangdong Province neighboring Hong Kong, and within close proximity to Guangzhou and Macao. SIE Shenzhen, also known as SIE Agency, or Success in Education, has been in business in Shenzhen for over 10 years. Before covid-19, SIE Shenzhen had around 200 teachers under employment. Most teachers who get employed by SIE Shenzhen will not work at a school directly owned and managed by SIE. Instead, when the teacher is about to start their employment contract, a school will be assigned to the teacher based on which schools needs teachers, and which schools will accept the teacher. These schools can include, but not limited to the following schools; international kindergarten, bilingual schools, and training centers. Generally, how a dispatch company works is, the school will sign a contract with SIE. Then, SIE agency in Shenzhen will sign the labor contract with the teacher. SIE will charge monthly fee to the school, and then pay the salary to the teacher. Although the work visa is held by the school, the salary is paid by SIE to the teacher and the management is done through SIE.
