Founded in 1938 as the earliest state-run overseas Chinese middle school in China, Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School is now a key middle school in Haikou and a first-class school in Hainan Province. Located in Haikou City, both the high school campus and the junior school campus boast of beautiful modern garden-like environments, first-class facilities, and complete supporting facilities and functions. The School is proud to have abundant qualified and outstanding teachers. Famous sages like Shen Congwen, Zhang Zhaohe, Zha Liangzhao, and Chen Xujing used to work here. It now has 533 faculty members, 83% of whom hold intermediate and senior professional titles.
