After you finished your last day of work(whether you finish contract, or broke the contract WHILE giving 30 days notice), what was your exit-experience with your previous employer/school?

My previous employer did not cooperate with my resignation. They did some/all of the following actions- a) threatened to blacklist me b)refused to cancel my work permit c) refused to accept my letter of resignation d) refused to give me a release letter from the employment contract e) had to hire a lawyer and go into labor arbitration and/or court litigation).

SIE is the worst agency in China. They threaten you and force you to do a bunch of stuff that is not in your contract. They never pay on time and they always find a reason to not give you your full salary, ever. I eventually hired a lawyer who wrote several demand letters to them and finally they got scared and backed off.
