I worked for a public school job through Eduhope for year and half. After 3 semesters, I wanted to change jobs. They wanted me to pay a big penalty for them to cancel my work permit. I just left China and didn't want to deal with the shady work situation. My advice to you, don't work through an agency. Work for a real international school job.
