Teaching Position: Homeroom Teacher for the Primary School
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Salary: Competitive salary related to your experience, qualification, and current market salary
Teaching Hours per week: Maximum 24 hours

Paid Vacation: 6 weeks for summer, 4 weeks for winter, fully paid

Job Duty Overview
Differentiating classroom instruction to meet student’s individual learning needs and styles
Teaching the curriculum meeting the IPC standards
Using technology as a vehicle for learning and integrating ICT skills teaching where possible
Managing class resources to deliver stimulated and motivated classroom and learning environment
Managing and maintaining student portfolios, assessing students, and completing student reports
Working as a team planning lessons, collaboratively developing and following a grade level essential requirement
Planning and reviewing the curriculum and lesson plans meeting the IPC standards
Fostering a stimulating learning environment based on understanding and respect
Requirements
Native English Speaker
2 years full time teaching experience at relevant school
Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, or subject being taught (** If you do not have BA in Education/Subject being taught, it is strongly preferred that you are a licensed teacher.)
Teachers who can deliver lessons that are structured with clear objectives preferred
Should be adaptable to various situations and challenges
Need to be a team player, well organized, and have good communication skills

Shanghai Foreign Language School Hangzhou Campus, referred to as “Hangzhou School affiliated to SISU”, is strategically introduced by the Fuyang District government and Shanghai International Studies University. It is located in Fuchunwan New Town, Fuyang District, Hangzhou. The school is planned and designed by Broadway Malyan, the world’s top architectural design company in the UK. The campus is adjacent to the picturesque Fuchun River. It is a 15-year, small-class, boarding and dual-track foreign language school, covering kindergarten, primary school, junior high school and senior high school, with accommodation of 3000 students at the same time. The school will open in September 2022.
