Teaching Position: English Teachers for Primary School
Location: Futian District, Shenzhen
Student Ages: from 6 to 12 years old, 12 to 18 year old
Class Size: about 30 students
Teaching Load: No more than 25 classes per week, each class is 40 minutes (primary) or 45 minutes (middle and high).
Work Hours: Five days a week, 8:00am-12:00am, 2:10pm-5:45pm
Salary Package:
Salary: Negotiable. Varies from university, degree, teaching experience and position.

Job Duty Overview:
Prepare subject specific lessons for elementary school aged students.
Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade standard, in an interactive learning environment and deliver exceptional results for all students.
Implement curriculum by designing effective and creative lessons and assessments to ensure students’ education is at an internationally competitive level.
Collaborate with other international teachers to form a community of smart, talented and interesting people who are passionate about education and readily willing to work in a professional, academic environment.
Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills to heighten the trajectory of students’ academic and career success.
Manage student behavior to foster academic achievement, personal responsibility, intellect and individuality in all students.
Requirements:
Native English Speaker
2 years full time teaching experience at relevant school
Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, or subject being taught
** If you do not have BA in Education/Subject being taught, it is strongly preferred that you are a licensed teacher.
Teachers who can deliver lessons that are structured with clear objectives preferred
Should be adaptable to various situations and challenges
Need to be a team player, well organized, and have good communication skills
Overview of the School:
Shenzhen Yaohua Experimental School is a K-12 private school. Located in Futian, it covers an area of 31,117 square meters with a construction area of 31,000 square meters. There are 3 departments: primary school, junior middle school and senior high school. In primary school, there are nearly 200 teachers, including more than 30 international teachers. Founded in 2004, it has modern multimedia computer network classroom, body room, piano room, gymnasium and concert hall. At present, there are 80 classes. Each classroom is equipped with full-time foreign and Chinese teachers sitting at the back of the classroom, 60 Inch rear projection, book corner and a graffiti wall. The school has a school paradise, a drum team and dozens of associations. In junior middle school, there are 25 classes with around 670 students (small size teaching) and 65 teachers. In senior high school, student-teacher ratio is 10:1. There are more than 400 students and more than 40 teachers.
