Position Details

1. Teaching Position: Homeroom Teacher
2. Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
3. Salary: Competitive salary related to your experience, qualification, and current market salary
4. Teaching Hours per week: Maximum 20 hours
5. Health Insurance: Provided
6. Paid Vacation: 6 weeks for summer, 4 weeks for winter, fully paid
7. Tuition Benefits: Assistance in obtaining a visa will be provided.

Job Duty Overview

1. Contributing to a positive learning environment by participating with the morning student greeting, monitoring students for safety, and always being a good ambassador of the school
2. Planning engaging lessons tailored to the students levels and learning style
3. Creating fun games and activities that will help deliver the lesson objectives
4. Communicate well with local teachers, local staff, and parents about student progress
5. Participate in school projects during special holiday events, as well as on going improvements in the curriculum

Requirements

1. Native English Speaker
2. 2 years full time teaching experience at relevant school
3. Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, or subject being taught. (** If you do not have BA in Education/Subject being taught, it is strongly preferred that you are a licensed teacher.)
4. Teachers who can deliver lessons that are structured with clear objectives preferred
5. Should be adaptable to various situations and challenges
6. Need to be a team player, well organized, and have good communication skills

Overview of the School

Shanghai Foreign Language School Hangzhou Campus, referred to as “Hangzhou School affiliated to SISU”, is strategically introduced by the Fuyang District government and Shanghai International Studies University. It is located in Fuchunwan New Town, Fuyang District, Hangzhou. The school is planned and designed by Broadway Malyan, the world’s top architectural design company in the UK. The campus is adjacent to the picturesque Fuchun River. It is a 15-year, small-class, boarding and dual-track foreign language school, covering kindergarten, primary school, junior high school and senior high school, with accommodation of 3000 students at the same time. The school will open in September 2022.
